Safeguarding and urgent support
If you need urgent help now
Gill D Therapy is not an emergency or crisis service, and email is not monitored for urgent support. If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, please seek urgent help now. You can:
- If someone’s life is at risk, or you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe, call 999 or go to A&E.
- For urgent mental health help in England, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option, or ask your GP for an urgent appointment.
- For someone to talk to, call Samaritans on 116 123, free, day or night.
- Ask a trusted person to help you get support. Outside the UK, use local emergency and crisis services.

Confidentiality and its limits
Confidentiality is offered to everyone. There are some exceptions, particularly where there is a safeguarding concern or a risk of serious harm, and particularly with regard to children. I will talk through how confidentiality and safeguarding work with clients and, where appropriate, with parents and carers.
If you have any questions about confidentiality or safeguarding, you are welcome to ask me at any time.
